Established in 1995 by proprietor Mark Blake, the Hobart car service City Automotive started off as a one man team, quickly adding a first year apprentice Lyndon Bender, who has progressed to Workshop Supervisor position he holds today.
Growing customer numbers and increased demand for best car service resulted in a move to improved premises, adding the new location to business name and becoming the local favorite car service City Automotive Mornington.
Mark Blake is the owner, proprietor and manager of City Automotive Mornington car service. Mark has been in the automotive industry for 30 years and is committed to providing top quality mechanical care to all customers.
Marks daughter Melanie Blake has been working as the Office Manager at City Automotive Mornington for ten years. She is completing a Certificate IV in Business Administration. Her favourite part of the job is interacting with customers.
Workshop Supervisor Lyndon Bender has been with City Automotive Mornington since its beginnings in 1995. After meeting Mark at age of 16, Lyndon has cultivated his passion for cars by working for Mark ever since. Lyndons position involves coordinating the workshop activities with the office and liaising with customers.
